Members from churches in the West Metro Baptist Association volunteer for mission work around the country. Builders are skilled and unskilled. We are men, women and children (over age 10).

We are a mission organization that contributes person power to God‘s work in building churches - buildings and congregations. West Metro Builders for Christ began in 1989. Since then we have made annual trips out of state to serve our Lord through our sweat, prayer, praise, and worship. We have also undertaken a number of local projects between trips.

Members take a week long "vacation" from their routine. They pay their own way and devote their time and talents. Our talents are varied: carpentry, supervision, general labor, electrical, painting, cooking, serving, singing, praying, nursing, preaching, and teaching. God knows how to use our talents on each unique project!

We have planning meetings from January through April, culminating in a Commissioning ceremony in May. Our major project is usually a week in June.
