An excerpt from an email from Susan Rhodes, Chairperson of Building Committee, Foothills Baptist Church receive this morning:
"...the building continues to go up slowly...the first group coming in will probably be helping put up steel as well as framing. At this time 1/2 of the 20 ft beams and 1/2 of the main floor braces are in. We had a big meeting with the contractor on Monday and he has assured us that he will get a large crew on the job so he will be ready for all the volunteers.....at this time he is trying to do the job with 3 guys while he finishes up some large jobs....the stress level at my house is quite high these days...I give it to God 6 times and day and take it back 7....please continue to pray for the project and the church as Satan is making sure we know he is alive and well....as the work progresses slowly, some members are questioning all decisions that the committee has made!! More storms coming tonight!"

- Prayer requests from the Foothills Baptist Church:
> Pray for sunshine and dry weather so progress can be made on the building.
> Pray for Tinnie, a member of FBC, whose husband was killed 3/31 in an accident.
- Pray for the "un-freezing" of a position at LSU for JoAnna Clark.
- Wayne Sibley's daughter has asked for prayers for Wayne. Blood tests indicate that he has pancreatic cancer. He will be going to U. of AL Hospital in the near future.

4/2/08
- JoAnna Clark has a job as Acting Office Manager for Operation NOAH Rebuild in New Orleans; this is a temporary position.
